Grava — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Grava is an independent, unofficial game backlog tracker. We keep data collection to a minimum. Your library and progress stay on your device; the only things that leave it are the ratings and comments you choose to post. This policy explains what we handle and your choices.

What stays on your device

Your library, favorites, tracked progress, play sessions, and your interest selections are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. Uninstalling the app, or using Delete my data in the app, removes them.

Your account

Browsing the catalog needs no account. To rate games or post comments, you create an account with an email address, a password, and a display name — or by continuing with Google. We store:

We never ask for your real name or phone number, and your password is handled securely by our authentication provider (we never see it).

How your information is shared

Ratings and comments you post — together with your chosen display name — are visible to other Grava users. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Moderation

Comments are filtered for profanity, and every comment can be reported or its author blocked from inside the app. Reported content is reviewed and removed if it violates our Terms of Use.

Retention & deletion

On-device data exists only on your device. Server-side ratings and comments are kept until you delete them. You can delete your own comments any time, and you can remove all of your data via About → Delete my data in the app, or by following our data deletion instructions.

Children

Grava is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please do not include personal information in comments.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
